About PIE Africa
Principal Institute of Excellence (PIE Africa) is a social impact company dedicated to bridging the career preparedness divide for African students, especially for those from disadvantaged socioeconomic backgrounds in underserved communities.
Our goal is to unlock the potential of young people by addressing their social, emotional and academic learning needs. We do so by providing students with the right tools and resources to develop essential career readiness, social and emotional skills that cultivates well-rounded individuals, ready to take advantage of present opportunities.

Hi, I’m Hilda, Founder and CEO at Principal Institute of Excellence (PIE Africa), leading strategy, partnerships, and execution to build scalable education and career readiness programmes for young people in Africa. I’m a passionate advocate for quality education, accessible career guidance, and socio-economic opportunity for all students, regardless of location or background
I’m a certified Qlik Sense Business Analyst designing, developing, and supporting business intelligence solutions since 2017. I’ve worked in the ITC sector since 2013, serving in various capacities such s project management, systems analysis, customer support and quality assurance. I worked on and managed many ERP, CRM and BI solution implementations including MS Dynamics, SAP Business One and Salesforce.
People-centric leadership, organisation skills and advanced problem-solving ability, coupled with extensive experience in business data analysis and project management – uniquely position me to lead PIE Africa. I bring the operational discipline and stakeholder collaboration skills necessary to launch a scalable social enterprise that delivers measurable educational outcomes and longterm impact.

Eyram Darkey-Mensah is a passionate career guidance practitioner and youth mentor currently serving at the Ho Municipal Education Office as the Municipal Guidance and Counselling Coordinator. She supports learners in making informed, purpose-driven decisions about their education and future career pathways.
With a strong commitment to learner development, Eyram that help young people discover their strengths, interests and suitable career pathways. She is deeply committed to mentoring and coaching young people to grow academically, socially and morally . As a Christian and a teacher in the children’s service department of her church, she intentionally nurtures character, discipline and purpose in young lives.
Eyram loves to read, coach and write, and brings a learner-centred and faith-inspired approach to career guidance and personal development.
